Med-Co achieves Green Dragon Level 2

The Med-Co Group is pleased to announce our acquisition of the Green Dragon, Level 2 Environmental Standard.

Since the turn of the year (2011), we have progressively made small yet meaningful changes to the ways in which we process and recycle wastage within the company. In April, we faced our biggest challenge yet as we moved to new self sufficient offices and in the process, progressed from being a paper heavy to a paper light office. All documentation since our big move has been converted into electronic format, securely recycling over 60 full sacks of documentation in the process. Our processes continue to ensure that we use minimal amounts of paper on a daily basis with secure electronic documentation taking its place.

In addition to reducing our paper wastage, we have also implemented measure to recycle plastic, glass and tin items within the office as well as used ink toners and cartridges. It is our intention to continue implementing “green” processes in the office on a day to day basis with the intention of becoming as environmentally friendly as possible.
