Welcome to our new recruits!

Welcome our two new additions to the Med-Co family.

Jen Rolfe is our Medical Tour Co-Ordinator at Med-Co Global Exchange, our exciting new venture.  Having recently graduated with an Advertising degree at Swansea Metropolitan University, Jen has shown great enthusiasm for our newest enterprise, taking the concept as her own.

Jen says:" As a University undergraduate, I developed a vested interest for creative design with a strong focus on advertising and the ways in which it can benefit aspects of our future. In addition to my studies, in recent years I have travelled to parts of Asia.  Not only was this an enriching experience, it was one that has given me the desire to explore other areas of the world in the not too distant future. 

My role at Med-Co seems to connect my acquired skills and passions perfectly, building on my academic achievements on a work based environment. I view Med-Co Global Exchange as an opportunity to exert my expertise and be part of creating a unique concept within the Medicine/Travel industry and I look forward to enjoying an interesting and exciting future with the company" 

Jeffrey Tang is currently working as a service designer and research associate undertaking a three year PhD project investigating the application of service design and thinking within the healthcare field within the UK.

His background is in the field of industrial design, graduating with a BSc honours degree in Automotive Design from Swansea Metropolitan University. He has now broadened his design skill set by focussing his current energies and motivation into service design strategy.

Jeff says “Being involved with this research project will give me an opportunity to incorporate skills from other disciplines such as design ethnography, anthropology and social sciences to research what it means to bring about alternative approaches to healthcare development. In addition, I will benefit by working with colleagues who contribute to the health field in some way or another. I therefore look forward to working within the operational environment of Med-Co and to understand both in broad and eventually, detailed terms, all aspects of the healthcare sector.”

We welcome both talented individuals into our family, bringing two very different skill sets to the table. We hope that both individuals will develop and grow, hand in hand with the Med-Co Group.
