ANP for Exclusive Private Practice

An opportunity has arisen for a Prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work for a Private Bespoke Health and Wellbeing provider, designed for people who want to make the ultimate investment in their whole body and mind wellness for now and in the future!   

This business is set to disrupt the luxury healthcare, wellbeing, and private medical industry!

You will be predominantly based in London but will also be working in 2 other Private Practices in Hertfordshire. Travel is required for home visits.

You will be working 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday. Duration – Perm/Full-time

Salary £60-80K per annum

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting NMC revalidation requirements
  • Assisting with both the day-to-day functioning and the future development of clinical service
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients according to protocols
  • Making clear independent decisions with confidence and communicate these effectively to a wide range of clients
  • Maintaining appropriate clinical records, ensuring that documentation clearly demonstrates
  • Guidelines and Policies for Records and Record keeping
  • Prescribing a wide range of medications across a number of different conditions and presentations
  • Providing information and advice on prescribed or over-the-counter medication on medication regimens, side-effects, and interactions
  • Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions, integrating both drug and non-drug-based treatment methods into a management plan
  • Prioritising health problems and intervening appropriately to assist the client in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including the initiation of effective emergency care
  • Supporting clients to adopt health promotion strategies that promote healthy lifestyles and apply principles of self-care
  • Producing accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of client consultation, consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures


  • Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) RCN qualification or equivalent.
  • Other training is desirable, Information Governance, BLS, Infection Control – but not essential 
  • Experience working in the role in primary care or other related service
  • Non-medical prescriber with minimum previous experience (dependant on areas worked)
  • You must be able to prescribe autonomously and hold a valid V300 certificate
  • Competent in assessment, diagnosis, and management of common primary care presentations
  • Competent with technology and using multiple IT systems
  • Experience in blood interpretation and review of laboratory results
  • Experience in advanced clinical examination
  • Be able to evidence minor illness and minor illnesses qualifications
