Our client is a charity and not-for-profit organisation that provides care and support for older people and adults with learning disabilities. The organisation has up to 1300 staff supporting over 1,100 residents at services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire.

Business Support Analyst – Aylesbury – £35K plus excellent benefits package

Job role and responsibilities:

As Business Support Analyst, you will support the development, administration, and maintenance of core business systems. Working as part of the Business Intelligence and IT functions in partnership with core Business System Owners to administer, develop, configure, and report in line with business and strategic requirements.

Responsibilities for the role of Business Support Analyst include:

  • Support Business Systems owners in the development and configuration of business requirements relating to core business systems
  • Perform regular housekeeping to ensure core business data is accurate
  • Work with the Business Intelligence team to create, maintain and run reports on core business systems
  • Work with the L&D team and support training Managers, Administrators, and employees in using core business systems
  • Develop and maintain user guides and ensure they are up to date
  • Support system upgrades through reviewing documentation, defining requirements and test plans
  • Participate in user testing and delivery to help ensure system improvements are achieved
  • Work with Business Systems Owners to ensure that data integrity is maintained ensuring that data is accurate and reliable
  • Support the maintaining of data in line with statutory limits and GDPR regulations

To be successful in this role:

You will have previous experience in a Business Support Analyst or similar role and experience and understanding of SQL / Oracle data base structures.

Other requirements for this role include:

  • Experience of business systems administration
  • Experience of supporting system projects
  • Experience of liaising with internal clients and external suppliers
  • Ability to create reports using Microsoft Office tools
  • Good numeracy skills and literacy skills
  • Flexible and approachable with a positive attitude, even under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possession of a valid Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
