Paramedic required to work in a Prison based in Dorset

A new role has become available at HMP Guys Marsh. The prison are looking to create a 24 hour healthcare service for prisoners and are in need of a Paramedic to be on site for emergency responses.

The 24 hour service will be trialed over a 14 day period starting Saturday 1st August, with the view to extend after this period.

You will be the only paramedic on site, however the prison does have ILS-trained Senior Officers who will be there to support you.

The shifts are 18:00 – 07:30 with 1 hour break, with a shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off.
The hourly rate is £35 on weekdays, increased to £37 on Saturday and Sundays. 

Previous prison experience is not essential. Knowledge of System One would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

We will require proof of your Paramedic qualification and an up to date Enhanced DBS in order to be booked in.
