Ministry of Defence
Med-Co has served our Armed Forces around the world for over 20 years. From the tip of Cornwall to the top of Scotland, from bases in the Mediterranean and Germany to Brunei, we have supplied all manner of clinician to every branch of the Ministry of Defence.
When specialist military skills and experience in Aviation & Diving Medicine, Sports Therapy, Physiotherapy and PULHHEEMS are required, Med-Co can provide the solution. All our GP locums are trained in DMICP
HM Prisons
Supplying experienced candidates to over 30 prisons across the UK with GPs and Nurses, our bank of candidates includes specialists qualified to RCGP Part 1 and 2 who are able to provide assistance in both General and IDTS clinics.
Our clinicians understand the requirements of specialist prescribing using restricted formulary. For difficult situations where long-standing prescribing problems have arisen, we are able to assemble specialist GP teams with proven track record to assist you.
Out of Hours
The challenging world of Out Of Hours medicine with its telephone triaging and emergency consultations requires a particular skill and attitude. Preferred suppliers to many of the country’s biggest Out Of Hours organisations, we have a sound reputation for being able to deliver quality locums at short notice.
We work closely with our clients to make sure that our locums are properly inducted and understand the localised systems, protocols and prescribing methods applicable in the OOH environment.
General Practice
We provide high calibre Clinicians for General Practices and healthcare centres throughout the UK. From ad-hoc sessions to long term cover, when unexpected staffing problems arise, you can rely upon Med-Co to provide the solution – often at only a few hours notice.
Being Primary Care Specialists, we have strong knowledge of each type of surgery and the way they work, from single handed practices to the larger Federations; from individual requirements such as on call and home visits to the administrative computer systems used. Our bank of Candidates includes GPs, Nurses and Physiotherapists.
